John has been involved with Sunday's Weff R.F.C. since 1973 before
transfering his playing loyalties to Bective Rangers in 1982. He has
served on the Bective executive and has represented Sunday's Well on the
Division 2/3 Assosiation for the past 10 years. He has been a divisional
delegate to the AISRCA Executive since formation in the 2004/05 season.

John played senior rugby with Sunday's Well from 1974 to 1982 and
subsequently at senior and junior levels for Bective Rangers from 1982 and played for Munster in 1979/1980 and 1980/1981.

He has served as Chairman of the Division 2/3 Clubs assosiation since season 2004/2005.
